Julie, I seem to be following you around while you speak my mind today! LROE is just HUGE! It's quite obviously an album done by musicians who've written & sung together for many years. They know what they like, what they do well, & what their fans like, & they acted accordingly. They tried to include a little of each member's style, and a 'little bit country, a little bit rock'n'roll' (can't believe I used that) as well. And they kept working on it until they were (almost) happy with it.
The songs are intricate & well crafted...lot's of musicality, lots of meaningful lyrics. Yes, there are a few diamonds in the rough, but overall, excellent.
And I waited so long!
