Don's new Country CD

I was wondering:When will Don's new Country CD be coming out and will Kenny Rogers be performing a duo w/Don on there since he helped Don get his start in the business???Sincerely,Aaron

I'm guessing the CD will be coming out in fall 2011 (probably late fall). We're already hearing rumblings of solo dates then.

I haven't heard anything about Kenny joining in on this project. My feeling, though, is that he won't because Don and Kenny have already done a duet for Kenny's last album.

I'm really not a fan of country music and even less of a fan of duets but Don had done a duet with Randy Travis. I'll be glad to see the back of this fad.

Randy Travis sounds equally humble and grateful when looking back at 25 years of recording country music.

Calling last month from his tour bus sitting outside Dallas, he expressed his excitement at the way his "Anniversary Celebration" CD of 16 duets from his many hit records came together, for scheduled release June 7 by Warner Music Nashville.

Kenny Chesney, singing on "He Walked on Water," Kristin Chenoweth ("Love Looks Good on You") and Don Henley ("More Life") represent some of other music all-stars on "Anniversary."

Hm, last post here about 4 months ago.. Been awfully quiet about this new Henley album. His casino tour starts in a few weeks, and since no announcements has been made, I think we can assume that the album will not be released by then. My guess is somewhere between november '11 and spring '12. Anyone else heard anything?

Just saw him this past weekend at The Joint, Hardrock, Tulsa. He mentioned he's working on. Will also include Miranda Lambert, Vince Gill & Brad Paisley.

I thought this album was done and ready to be released a while ago.  I guess I thought wrong.  Is it not wrapped yet?

I believe Don said at a solo concert last month that it would be out in the 2nd half of 2012. I think things have to be arranged around the Eagles' schedule.

I guess they really are serious about this 40th anniversary thing, huh?  I'd assume a major tour...maybe their last? (though it's been there last for nearly 40 years).
