Many thanks for posting the link Lisa :icon_thumright:

There was a time when I thought I was the only Joe Walsh fan in the UK.

Never mentioned in the press, never on TV or the radio, albums barely dented the top 100, nobody seemed to know him at all.

I could never compete in the bragging rights of all the, far better known, musical heroes my friend's patronised.

I thought if only Joe could do something with The Beatles..... :icon_thumleft:

That is a sexy sounding ride!  Life's Been Good

Speaking of which - Joe's Maseratti in the clip and a new Ferrari convert beside me in traffic today; I do find it so unpleasant when others live my life. :)

Nice find, Lisa!

My chemo medication and lack of sleep is playing havoc with my eyesight..................hallucinating!!!!  :laughing6:

When Paul came out first of all I thought "that can't be right, that looks like Heather (the ex Mrs Macca), then as she moved her face her eyes took on a resemblance to Linda. Thankfully the face then morphed into the well and truly alive Mrs Walsh *phew*  ;D

Poor Joe nobody said his name!! I wouldn't give a flippin' damn about Paul, I'd be screaming Joe's name, he actually has talent!! :laughing7:

Joe even drove himself there, I think I'd actually prefer being an Eagle you get to drive around, and go places without being bombarted all the time by fans. They worked hard to keep it that way...

It's over 15 years since Joe sampled alcohol... :notworthy:

Maybe he could be a celebrity guest on Top Gear. I'm pretty sure Rocky Mountain Way is on the Top Gear Driving Anthem's CD.... or is it Life's Been Good :dontknow:

McCartney's earned his reputation as a rock legend... and without dying young :notworthy:

I've felt the exact same way when looking at her  :laughing7: :laughing7:

Poor Joe nobody said his name!! I

Someone did say his name; think it was directly after you hear 'Maseratti'.  It's none to loud, but he got honorable mention. :)

Luckily there are places these guys can go out to eat and socialise without having to run the gauntlet of adoring fans and crazy paps.

So wherever they had been that night they would have known there would have been a good chance they were going to get recognised.

Can't say I would fancy living my life in the spotlight like that - all those flash bulbs popping off and the hysteria in the fans voices was very disturbing to my ears.

Leslie...I think Linda looked more, natural, she didn't look touched up and she seemed to age if I remember, but I was never a follower of them,I would only catch the odd thing. I'm not trying to be awful here. but you do get a certain look. :)

I'm sure there are just as good restaurants in areas that can be avoided by press if you really want. ;D

Linda had a natural beauty; she appeared strong with an intense love of life; I've always thought Joe's wife appeared / appears more fragile.

Joe and Paul performed on Klaus Voormann's cd, a Sideman's Journey:

CD of this was released in January, 2011.  A deluxe version including a cd and dvd was released in 2009.  Anyone know if Joe's on the dvd?

Joe talking about his purchase of the original "Revolver" artwork ($1,800) , the link to which was posted on the Fastlane.
