Top 3 Favorite Henley Solo Songs
« on: December 21, 2008, 06:03:00 PM »
I really liked sonia's idea of the Top 3 Favorite Eagles Songs topic. So being a Henley fan myself, I decided that it would be a good idea to ask the Top 3 Favorite Henley Solo songs of everyone. My number one favorite always stays the same but two and three are subject to change. Wow, this will be hard!

1. Dirty Laundry
2. All She Wants To Do Is Dance
3. Gimme What You Got (It's rare but I love it! In fact, I love the entire EOI album.)

Have fun with this everyone!!

Wow, there are so many.  I would say that mine are:

1)  Heart of the Matter
2)  Boys of Summer
3)  You're Not Drinking Enough (I got to see this one performed live.  It was great!)

#1 - Boys of Summer (always 1 in my book)

#2 - Last Worthless Evening

#3 - The Heart of the Matter

There are so many honorable mentions, though, that could be in the #2 or #3 position depending on my mood: The Genie, Nobody's Business, The End of the Innocence, Dirty Laundry, Talking to the Moon, to name just a few.

1. Heart of the Matter (HFO performance)
2. Everything is Different Now
3. Boys of Summer

#3 was a tough choice between BOS & Dirty Laundry, but sometimes I get sick of the repeated "kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down"

This was a hard choice , think its very mood dependent.

I forgot about Love Rules.  That would be up there on my list too.

1.  Shakey Ground (w/ Elton John)
2.  Calling Me (w/ Kenny Rogers)
3.  Leather and Lace (duh....how could I forget this one!)

2. Taking you Home ( lots of memories of a wonderful summer )

3. The Boys of Summer ( Storytellers version )
