I chose The Long Run. I can listen to this whole album without skipping any songs. That's rare for me. Love it.

I HAD to go with Desperado. Doolin Dalton/Desperado Reprise does it to me every time. Both excellent albums, but then, has there ever been a bad Eagle's album??

I went Desperado, it was a hard choice and even the Sad Cafe couldn't sway me in the end as Boo Boo said it was the Doolin/Dalton Reprise that got the vote from me, the video to that gives me goosebumps everytime!

Desperado, hands down.

"Doolin Dalton/Desperado Reprise" is amazing, as BooBoo and Anthony have already stated.
I just love the whole concept album thing. Very cool and unique.

Desp is an amazing album.  All the songs work together as a whole to make an awesome piece of art.  TLR is like a train wreck.  It's got one or two good songs but that's about it.
And I dream I'm on vacation 'cause I like the way that sounds.  It's a perfect occupation for me.

Good grief, this one is a toughie!  Evaluating these two albums two different ways - pulling out my favorites and then doing the Don test (i.e., pulling out just my favorites sung by Don) yielded pretty much the same results.  They were tied each time.  So, I have to pull out the standard measure of favorites: Which would I want on a desert island?  (Hum Jeopardy music amongst yourselves  :) )

While I'd miss Those Shoes, In the City, Disco Strangler (I see you laughing!), King of Hollywood, et al., but I just can't forsake my favorite Eagles song of all time - Desperado.  Desperado it is!

Geez, I didn't even deliberate this long during the Presidential election!   :D

Ha!  After all of that, I forgot to vote!   Okay, now I've voted.

Should it be any surprise that I chose The Long Run?   ;D

The Long Run without a doubt. It's my second favorite Eagles album after One of These Nights and the songs are just so good! Nothing against Desperado but TLR is just the better of these two imo.
