I think we'll get a barometer on how much of the real story they are including if Henley's arrest is mentioned in part 2.

They are very candid about drug use and allude to the sex, but I think there's more about the inner workings of the band that they could have gone into.

As a way to shake up the set list, I'd love to see the Eagles open with Life In The Fast Lane and then see where it takes them...

This is a REALLY interesting idea. It might help get rid of the problem that they currently have where there's a good portion of the first half of the show that REALLY drags.  I'm worried that if they decide to tell "the story of the Eagles" chronologically during the live show that the first half will also be really ballad heavy.

He talks a lot about how the film demonstrates the impact of hard work and determination. That is very much one of the themes of the movie!

What do you think of what Lefsetz wrote? Does it make you more or less excited about the film.

I don't know why exactly this has to start up again in the middle of a good discussion, but I'd like to advise everyone to revisit the board guidelines...especially this part:

If you aren't here to engage in a COMMUNITY devoted to the Eagles, please rethink your participation in the board. We don't understand why people who don't like the Eagles, it's fans or the moderators of this board would devote time and energy here.

Failure to abide by the guidelines will result in account deletion even if it is a moot point.

Well, I was going to post something about how this is an amazing community where we don't play games or hold information hostage on order to advance some odd personal agenda about a music group  but I guess I don't need to do that anymore. I just don't get some people.

I'm wondering if they'll work some other international dates into their trip to South Africa. It seems a waste to just go there. I was thinking it was time for the band to visit Israel or Dubai, but things there may be too dangerous at this time. Maybe they will go to Europe instead.

L&M's Den / Timothy in the Nutcracker

I was culling through old copies of our newsletter looking for items for this section and found this message from 1998:

"Somehow Timothy ended up onstage with the Oakland Ballet during a performance of the Nutcracker this past holiday season. Tim was one of the toy soldiers along with several other Bay area celebs. Now that would have been something to see!!"

I wonder if there are photos of that anywhere?

While I don't mind country music, I only watched the Joe part. I couldn't stomach watching Taylor Swift act surprised and humbled for winning an award that she quite frankly doesn't deserve.

I usually like Braid Paisley, but I thought the two camoflague colored suit jackets to promote his single "camoflague" were a bit odd. Shouldn't the song speak for itself?
