I just like this one from March 29th 2000, Tim and Family at the El Dorado premire. That's a great picture of Timothy & Ben, but really, really doesn't do Jeddrah justice. These are more how she really looks:

I think it has a lot to do with those dorky 'helmut' haircuts the guys had in the very early 60s. Glenn's is the same 'do, just parted on the other side. I didn't like them back then and still think they're goofy-looking.

Firstly I think good genes have alot to do with it,then good dentists, hairdressers, fashon access( this includes money) and the suttle tweeks :)but generally i look at young girls today and alot of these things are available to the average kid, that weren't in my days or the money, it's a bit like technology gone ahead in leaps and bounds so has cosmetics etc.
I haven't seen any pics of these kids other than Lucy, who is pretty and appears grounded, good musician but not a great singer, bit like Dad...great musician but not a great singer...good singer(I'm ducking here LOL)
Don't think I've ever seen a photo of Lucy's Mum, so not sure if Lucy takes after her or Joe. She certainly has inherited Joe's and his Mum's musical genes and takes it very seriously - all those lessons in music theory. With regard to the singing, I've not heard enough of her singing to pass comment. No need to duck in my opinion Karen - I remember Joe had said many years ago when he was in the James Gang and had to sing that he didn't consider his singing voice good enough, but on that occasion he had no choice. He had to sing or they would not have been able to perform and get paid! Of course, he can sing and although he's not one of the greatest, he has a his own unique style and is easily recognisable. Would be interesting to see what the other Eaglets turn out like when they are older, both in looks and talent, whether it be musical or otherwise. I think this is Lucy's mom, circa 1983. Taken at the USFest out here in California. If it's not Juanita, I stand corrected.

Thanks, Terri! I don't see a resemblance, but that doesn't mean anything, especially in such a snapshot. BTW, is that Joe Vitale on the left, rockin' the white shorts? Good grief, reminds of the airport scene in 'This is Spinal Tap'. I'm just sayin' ....

Teri - I had completely forgotten about those pictures - must be Juanita - the dates are right.
You're right Jorja - that is Joe Vitale.
I have been re-reading parts of Joe V's book - several things didn't sink in first time round.

Personally, I regret most of the clothes I wore in the 70's!

I can't remember a lot of my 70's clothes Karen, I believe it was me that posted the same pic over on the old board a year or so ago, but at the time I was asking for confirmation that it was indeed Juanita. I'm pretty sure someone confirmed that for me, not sure if it was Lisa or another JW fan, but I've assumed it ever since. Joe V wasn't the only one wearing shorts that day, lol. The guy playing trumpet at the beginning of the 1st set (in the video) is also wearing a pretty rockin' pair of shorts, hahaha. Joe V also looks as though he could be wiping away some whitewalls just before going on stage...... (not meaning to slander JoeV, not sure if he was the wild drug user that the rest were)
